A perennial BMA favorite, David Meerman Scott, will replace Randi Zuckerberg as the final BMA14 presenter late Friday morning, May 30. Zuckerberg had to cancel due to scheduling conflicts. A three-time past BMA conference presenter, Scott will draw from his latest best-seller, Marketing the Moon, to speak about the lessons that marketers of all stripes can learn from the Apollo moon mission of the 1960s, arguably the most successful marketing program in history.
Noted b2b sales expert and author Jill Konrath has had to cancel her Thursday morning, May 29, appearance at BMA14 due to a family health issue. Slated to speak about “Agile Selling: How to Turn Your Sales Force into a Competitive Advantage,” Konrath, also a noted LinkedIn expert, already has accepted an offer to speak at BMA15.
Due to a scheduling snafu at BMA’s end, Gartner’s Jake Sorofman has had to drop off the Friday morning, May 30, panel session titled “Engineers, Coders, Growth Hackers and IT Mavens: We’ve Come a Long Way from Captain of the AV Club.” A third panelist to join Jon Kimpel of Firestone Building Products and Scott Brinker of Ion Interactive is being sought. Gartner has committed to being involved in BMA15.
